The objective of the Administrative Services Department is to provide support and oversight to the activities which facilitate a wide range of services for County departments. The activities include; Purchasing, Information Technology, Facility Management, Building & Grounds Maintenance, Mail, Phones and Copiers. In addition to supervision of staff and budget management, Administrative Services provides support to the services activities in the areas of inter-departmental relations, personnel records, accounts payables, departmental billings, report writing, contract management, back-up staff support and document management. The objective of the Administrative Services Department is to centralize the administrative responsibilities of the various services into one area, thereby allowing the supported activities to focus on the actual delivery of valued and essential services.
